If there is a wiring fault, the channel LED will remain on and blink to indicate the malfunction. If the fault is self-correcting, the detector will continue operating. The green channel LED lights up when a vehicle is detected passing over the induction loop. The red power LED on top of the unit remains lit to indicate the device is powered. Automatic Sensitivity Boost The automatic sensitivity boost can be selected via DIP switch 5 on the front panel. OFF = Disabled ON = Enabled When enabled, the sensitivity will automatically increase to the maximum level while a vehicle is over the loop, maintaining this level during vehicle presence. Once the vehicle leaves the loop, the detector reverts to the preset sensitivity level.
